At Veruca, we deliver your groceries within the 30-minute window you select at checkout — whether that’s right now, or tomorrow between 1:00 and 1:30 PM.

We don’t make you wait around for “sometime this afternoon.”
When you pick a window, we mean it. Your order will roll up between the start and end of that 30-minute slot — guaranteed.

We can only make so many deliveries at once... so why not try to beat the system?
See if you can catch us slipping. If we miss your window, your order is free. You don’t pay. Simple as that.

Fine Print (aka the grown-up stuff):

If your order is not delivered within your selected delivery time frame, you’ll receive a store credit for your order. The following restrictions apply:

• An order is considered delivered once our driver arrives at the delivery address. Additional time needed to safely carry items to the doorstep, unload larger orders, or wait for the customer to answer the door is not included in the delivery time guarantee.

• Valid on your first order of the day only.

• Large orders (25+ items) placed for the next delivery window or within one hour of delivery are excluded from our 30-Minute Guarantee. These orders typically arrive on time, but additional picking, packing, and travel time may be required depending on order size and delivery distance.
  
  

• If our drivers are held up at a security gate or checkpoint, delivery time is counted from when they arrive at the gate.

• If your order is being delivered to an apartment or location where we cannot park directly in front of the delivery address an additional 15 minutes is added onto our guaranteed time. Please provide as much information about parking and location during checkout to help us be faster! 
  
  

• Delivery windows are reserved for a limited time during checkout. To ensure we can meet our delivery guarantee, your order must be completed before the reservation expires.

  If checkout is not completed promptly, your selected delivery window may no longer be available. In some cases, an order may be placed too close to the start of the selected delivery window for us to reasonably complete the delivery within that timeframe.

  If this occurs, Veruca reserves the right to adjust your delivery time to the earliest available window. Our team will contact you with an updated estimated delivery time if necessary. Orders delayed due to an expired or late checkout reservation are not eligible for our 30-Minute Delivery Guarantee or related compensation.

• If your order requires a signature and no one is available, it does not qualify for a refund.

• Orders paid in full or in part with a promotional gift card issued at no cost (e.g., a free gift card) are not eligible for the 30-minute delivery guarantee.

• Items Marked With an Asterisk (*)

  Items marked with an asterisk (*) are not eligible for Veruca’s 30-Minute Guarantee due to their size, weight, handling requirements, or nature of the product.

  These items can typically be delivered within approximately three hours of your order being placed; however, this timeframe is not guaranteed and may vary based on availability and routing.

  If your order contains one or more of these items, your entire order will be delivered at the scheduled delivery time for the asterisk-marked item. This ensures your order arrives together and in proper condition.

  If you would prefer to receive your standard items within our 30-Minute Guarantee, we recommend placing two separate orders: one for your guaranteed 30-minute items and one for the asterisk-marked item.

  We clearly identify these items on their product pages so you can make the best choice for your delivery timing.
