What are your hours?
We are open 7 days a week from 8am until 8pm! 

Do I need to be home when my order is delivered?
No, we will leave your order at your front door and take a photo as proof of delivery. If you have ordered cold/refrigerated products they will be left at the door and ARE NOT IN COOLERS, so you would want to be home.

Can I schedule my delivery time?
Yes! You can schedule your delivery for a 30 minute window the same day or next business day.

I know Veruca is in my area right now, but I am unable to order
It's possible that you opened the Veruca website before we opened up in your area. If you know we are there and it's not allowing you to order try closing out of the website and reopening it. If you are still having problems shoot us a text message at 619-478-0345.

How do I make a return?
At this time products are not eligible for return or exchange. However, if you have encountered an issue with a product or order please reach out to us and we will make it right! Contact us here.

Where does Veruca ship?
We deliver orders to any address within a 3 mile radius of one of our warehouses.

Who is delivering my order?
Your order is delivered by a Veruca driver.

Do you ship to PO Boxes?
We do not.

How long will it take for my order to get to me?
Your order will arrive within the 30 minute delivery window you selected at check out.

It says I live out of the range, what can I do?
We are quickly growing, but can’t be everywhere right away! If you’re not close enough to one of our warehouses it will say your delivery address is out of the acceptable range. You can change your address to one where you know we do ship or you will have to wait until we are in your area. Send us a note with where you live and we’ll try to open a warehouse near you soon!

An item in my order was damaged, what can I do?

There’s an item I want to buy, but you don’t have it available. Can it be added?
We are always adding new products and want to know what you’re looking for! Send us a note and we’ll try to add that product for you.

Do I have to enter my teachers name every time?
Nope! The first time you place an order just enter your child’s homeroom or primary teachers name into the order notes box. Once your account is linked to a teacher, future orders will automatically support that classroom. Just update your selection at the beginning of each school year.

How does Veruca support local schools?
Veruca is proud to sponsor local PTO's with monetary donations! We also support your teachers directly. Instead of frequent requests to contribute to classroom supplies or teacher gifts, you can simply place your grocery orders through Veruca. When families from a teacher’s class shop with us, that teacher earns weekly Veruca credits. The more families who order, the more your teacher earns, helping them purchase items for their classroom or themselves. Plus, every time you return a reusable bag, we donate 20¢ back to your school.

How is your delivery so fast?
We operate micro-warehouses right in your neighborhood, so the products you need are always close by. As soon as you place an order, our team hand-picks your items and a local e-bike driver delivers them to your door. Your order arrives in 30 minutes or it’s FREE.

How is Veruca different from Instacart or DoorDash?
Veruca handles everything in-house, no third parties. That means: no markups, no tipping, no minimums, no inflated fees. We’ll even bring multiple produce options to your door so you can pick what looks best, just like you’re at the store. And unlike gig workers our delivery drivers are paid a great hourly wage, starting at $20/hour!
